Looking at these photos makes me both happy (mostly!) and sad (a little). The W family moved to the Bay Area just a few days after our session, and I miss my friend Mrs. W already! Mrs. W and I worked together for a little over two years, and I could always count on her for a smile and a kind word. She is one of the most energetic and creative women I know, and the office just doesn’t have the same energy without her.

When Mrs. W and her family were preparing to relocate, we knew we needed to plan a Seattle-themed shoot to celebrate their time here. As we brainstormed locations, Mrs. W mentioned that her family loves the Olympic Sculpture Park. What a fun location! So many great textures and props, with views of both the Space Needle and waterfront — the Sculpture Park truly is the best of Seattle. These photos really capture the fun spirit of the W family, and I hope they help them remember Seattle fondly!
